Power Factoring
Power factor is a ratio of real power flowing to an asset versus the apparent power needed to supply it with energy. Power factors typically above 95% are not penalized by wires and poles companies, however companies with lower power factors are penalized. Our experts will evaluate your load and determine if power factor correction measures make sense and what the return on investment would be to you. Most installations require less than 18 months payback for these types of programs and we can offer up multiple options to amortize the expense of the installations.
Conservation
Demand-side Management is the implementation of policies and procedures which reduce electricity consumption and peak demand. We offer free feasibility studies for conservation programs to all our clients and provide timely information on those studies. Additionally, most studies are completed in less than 45 days, can provide additional LEED points, and the cost can be amortized over the entire term of the electricity agreement.
