HOUSTON, TEXAS (September 29, 2010) – Unified Energy Services (“Unified”) has provided annual commodity and energy efficiency savings to Lawler Foods Ltd. (“Lawler”) in excess of $1.6 million.

We get calls all day long from consultants wanting to price our electricity, but Unified evaluated our electricity, natural gas usage and energy assets creating the demand to craft a customized plan for our company,” said Mike Lawler, President of Lawler Foods, Ltd.

We receive weekly information regarding the markets and the performance of our contracts as well as guidance and options on managing our portfolio. Unified placed Lawler’s electricity load with an investment-grade retail energy supplier after making a market of more than 20 suppliers. Additionally, they restructured their natural gas contract to take advantage of wholesale optionality as well as the falling gas market. Lastly, Unified identified that a lighting retrofit was needed at Lawler’s facilities. By taking advantage of substantial state incentives, Unified was able to reduce the overall cost of the lights by more than 70 percent.
